Hotel Jaisalgarh Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, a bit away from the city center, surrounded by ongoing construction work. While the staff was courteous and accommodating, the rooms were in desperate need of maintenance and care, with uncomfortable mattresses that seemed to be a common issue. The dining experience, however, was exceptional and the best part of my stay.

The hotel was a bit tricky to find as it's on the outskirts of the town near the BSF area, making it inconvenient for evening outings, but the service was incredibly thoughtful, with the staff going above and beyond in providing valuable recommendations and even packing dinner for our train journey. The dining experience was delightful, offering fresh and delicious meals, and the rooms, although not extravagant as advertised, were cozy and pleasant.

The hotel's location is a bit challenging to find, set in a remote area away from the city, requiring your own transportation. The service was friendly, but not very proactive. The dining experience at the hotel restaurant was enjoyable, offering tasty dishes. The rooms were not ready upon our arrival, and the bathroom was subpar, located on the third floor making it unbearably hot. However, the staff kindly packed dinner for our train journey. The facilities were standard, without standout features.

The hotel is located approximately 5-6 Kms from Jaisalmer Railway Station, built in a remote area with Jaisalmer yellow stone. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although I wish the location was more central. The staff was very nice and attentive, particularly Mr Mahendra Singh, Mr Anu Singh, and Mr Gagan.

The hotel is in a bit confusing location and not widely known, with lots of tour packages available. The rooms had issues with uncomfortable mattresses but great lighting. The service was courteous but could be more responsive. The dining experience was the highlight of my stay. The facilities were standard.
